No traffic, no leads, no conversions.
One of the safest and most consistent ways of getting that traffic is through search engine optimized content. There is no point in spending money on blog posts if they’ll end up at the bottom of the search results. You need a plan that takes into account what your target audience is looking for, what your competitors are doing, and what you have to offer.
Let me create that plan for you.
What does a content strategy include?
For your blog posts to rank and bring in new leads, your content strategy needs to focus on creating optimized individual posts as well as internally linking those together to let both Google and your target audience known that you’re an authority in your industry.
That’s why your content strategy will include an easy-to-follow 12-month content calendar with monthly blog post recommendations.
For each blog post, I’ll include:
You’ll get all of this in a clear and easy-to-use spreadsheet with notes to clarify the suggested topics. If you like, we can also go over everything during a call.
Don’t want to write all of those blog posts yourself?
Is your team already stretched thin?
I will either create the content for you or, if you require specialist knowledge, will help you find a freelance writer specialized in your industry in which case I will manage the content creation process myself to make sure you get the best results possible.
What if I already have a blog?
Maybe you already have a blog but your posts aren’t ranking and thus they’re also not bringing in organic traffic – traffic that could turn into leads.
If that’s the case, I’ll analyze your existing content and will put together a plan to get rid of dead weight, combine those posts that are stronger together and optimize the articles that have a chance of ranking well.
Your content optimization plan will include:
You will get your content optimization strategy in the form of a detailed spreadsheet including notes for clarification.
Your content optimization plan is designed to be used effortlessly in combination with your new content strategy plan. When you order both plans, you’ll also receive a step-by-step timeline that will help you optimize existing content and publish new posts in the most efficient and effective way.
No time to optimize your existing posts yourself? My done-for-you service includes optimization of your existing posts.
Who is this for?
Content strategy planning and optimization are perfect for businesses that want to increase organic traffic to their website while establishing themselves as an authority in their industry.
They realize that content marketing done right can generate more leads and thus more sales while keeping their existing customers engaged and coming back for more.
At the same time, they understand that they won’t rank 20 articles overnight and that content marketing takes an upfront investment to get a return on that investment for years to come.
Who is this not for?
If, for some reason, you’re only looking for short-term results, I recommend spending your money on Adwords or Facebook ads instead. Just realize that these will stop working as soon as you stop paying while content that ranks will never stop bringing in new leads.
It’s also good to know that I have a fluffless, straightforward approach. I respect your time which means my content plans include all the information you need to let your business blog succeed, without any unnecessary filling.
How much does it cost?
A 12-month content strategy costs $2,499. The price for a content optimization strategy starts at $500 and depends on the number of blog posts that need to be analyzed.
If you opt for my done-for-you service, I’ll manage the entire content creation and optimization process as well as execute your strategy or find you the best writer within your budget and your industry to do so if you require specialist knowledge.
My done-for-you service starts at $1,000 per month.
Prices are + VAT if applicable. It’s also possible to pay in EUR.
How does it work?
Step 1: request your content strategy
To request your content strategy, fill in the form at the bottom of this page. I’ll have a look to see if we’re a good fit and will get back to you with a quote.
Step 2: fill in the questionnaire
Once we’ve agreed to move forward, I’ll send you an invoice for the deposit as well as an intake questionnaire. This questionnaire will ask you about your business, your target audience, your competitors, and your brand values.
It will also ask for access to your website’s Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts so I can analyze how people currently interact with website and which keywords you’re already ranking for according to Google.
The more detailed you are when filling in the questionnaire, the faster I can get to work. I’ll reach out to you with any questions I may have both at this stage or at later stages of the process.
Step 3: I'll do my research
With all the information I need to start my investigation, I’ll dive deep into your current rankings and investigate how the content of your competitors is performing. I’ll perform extensive keyword research keeping your audience’s interests and your goals in mind to figure out which keywords your content should be targeting.
If you’ve also ordered a content optimization plan, this is when I find out which blog posts are holding you down, which ones should be consolidated, and which ones need to be improved to rank higher.
Step 4: I'll create your content strategy and calendar
You’ll receive your content strategy and calendar as an easy-to-follow spreadsheet including explanatory notes. If you’ve also ordered a content optimization plan, you’ll get that as a second spreadsheet which is design to work seamlessly with your content strategy.
A printable PDF-file with a step-by-step timeline will help you execute your strategy efficiently and effectively.
Step 5: we'll hop on a call and plan the execution
Once you’ve received your content strategy and calendar, we’ll hop on a call to go over everything and make sure you don’t have any questions.
If you’ve only ordered the strategy and calendar, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule a few consultation moments with me during which we’ll review your progress and I’ll give you feedback on your execution. These moments are best planned after 3, 6, 9, and 12 months and go at my usual consulting rate of $75/hour.
If you’ve ordered my done-for-you service, we’ll put together a plan of execution both for writing your new content and optimizing your existing blog posts.
Step 6: sit back and see your traffic improve
When you’ve chosen my done-for-you service, this is the moment where I take over. Keeping your budget and tone-of-voice into account, I’ll create your content or will find you a writer with experience in your industry who will create and improve your content following my specific guidelines.
Each month, you’ll receive a two blog posts in Google Docs format, including the url, target keyword(s), headline, meta description, and category to put it in. All you need to do is copy/paste everything into your content management system.
You’ll also receive instruction on how to build links internally to and from these posts so they’ll create topic clusters and build your website’s authority.
7 days of unlimited headline revisions
While I have an extensive intake process to make sure I understand your business and tone-of-voice as well as I can, I understand it may feel risky to have your blog posts for a year determined by research you can’t predict the outcome of.
That’s why I’m offering 7 calendar days of unlimited headline revisions for your 12-month content plan.
